Underwater World

Spot sea turtles, reef fish, rays, sharks and more swimming through the 5.7-million-gallon habitat—one of the largest man-made ocean environments on the planet. It's home to thousands of sea animals!

To see these incredible aquatic species, ascend to Level 2 of SeaBase, which features an undersea viewing area with a circular, window-lined room in the middle of the aquarium. Here, you’ll be almost completely surrounded by marine life.

SeaBase is brimming with fun for all ages. Additional highlights include:

  • Fish Feedings: Visit Level 2 to watch animal care experts feed and train rays, sea turtles and fish. Feeding times vary; ask a Cast Member at The Seas for more information.

  • The Seas with Nemo & Friends: Board a “clamobile” for an undersea adventure based on the animated film Finding Nemo.

  • Manatee Rehabilitation: Over the years, injured manatees have taken up residence at SeaBase for rest, recovery and rehabilitation. Slow down to take in the grace of these water-dwelling mammals at the Manatee Rehabilitation Center, located on both Level 1 and Level 2.

  • Bruce’s Shark World: Step inside an interactive exhibit inspired by Finding Nemo, located on Level 1. Learn about aquatic life—then test your undersea expertise. Plus, pose for a photo inside the toothy grin of Bruce the shark!
